Grade cards will now be posted quarterly in ProgressBook beginning Friday Nov 1st. Please contact Mrs. Minnick in the Guidance Office at minnickj@limashawnee.com or (419) 998-8004 if you need help logging into your parent ProgressBook account or to request a paper copy. We encourage you to access your student’s account on a regular basis to follow their academic progress over the course of the school year.

Our Volleyball team earned a spot in the Regional Semi-Final! Their match will be played at 8 pm on Thursday, October 31 at Norwalk High School, 350 Shady Lane Dr., Norwalk.
Due to the late start and considerable travel time, Shawnee Schools will operate on a two-hour delay schedule Friday, November 1, 2024. Your community is proud of your accomplishments! Go Tribe!

October is Bullying Prevention Month. On Wednesday, October 16th, Shawnee Local Schools will be observing Unity Day as a district. Students and staff are invited to wear orange to support kindness, acceptance and inclusion. All clothing must be school appropriate!

Congratulations to the Varsity & JV Volleyball team on their victory Celina in a WBL match up. Next match is Saturday at Ottoville.

Homecoming will be Saturday, September 21st at Apollo from 8:30pm-10:30pm. Out of town guest forms are now available in the East Office. Forms must be completed and turned in by September 13th.
The Athletic Dept. is selling Student Passes for the Home Football games. They are $20, cash or check, for all 5 Home games. Please stop by the Athletic Dept. if interested in purchasing a pass.
Good luck to the football team as they take on Bath tonight in our first home game. The Band of One will be performing their show “Wicked” during halftime. Go tribe!
After the football game tonight, students are welcome to attend 5th Quarter at Shawnee UMC. There is free pizza, snacks, and drinks. If you attend, you must be picked up by 11:00pm.

This fall, the Drama Department will be presenting the musical, Little Shop of Horrors. Open auditions will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday in the auditorium, beginning at 3:00pm. We hope to see you there!

Four Shawnee high school choir members have been selected to perform with the Ohio Music Education Association's all-state choir. Out of many students who auditioned across Ohio, they were chosen as part of the 120 participants. The all-state choir will perform at the OMEA conference in February. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the JV girls soccer team on earning the 1-0 shutout over Bath last night. The Varsity Girls Soccer Team tied the Lady Cats last night, 2-2. Come out and support the girls in home action on Saturday as they face Liberty Benton. The JV game begins at 11 AM, followed by the Varsity at 1 PM.
Our cross country team is still blazing trails!! Over the weekend, Jenna Stump placed 3rd overall for the girls and Ty Schaub placed 11th overall at Wapak! Last night the team was in Spencerville. Results for the girls: in 1st, Jenna Stump, 2nd Savannah Hohe, 3rd Mia Kohli, 4th Chloe Kouns and a big shout out to Marli Lopez for setting a career PR! For the boys: in 1st Ty Schaub, 2nd Isaiah Robertson, 3rd Kasey Hohe, 4th Ian Delgado and 5th Evan Conley. Way to go Cross Country!
Baseball open field and lifting will begin today after school on the High School baseball diamond for any high school boy interested in playing baseball this spring. Please bring cleats, a glove, and hat. If you don't have those items it is ok.
