Yesterday we celebrated 4 amazing Shawnee students- one in each grade for making a positive difference. They were nominated by a staff member who caught them doing something positive. Each got to spin a prize wheel and walk away with something from a local business. Thank you to Shawnee Station, McDonalds, and Whitewater Express Carwash for their donations. We are so proud of: Logan Market, Marah Garlock, Alydia Allison and James Morris. We will be doing another drawing this Friday. Way to go guys! We are so incredibly proud of you!

Students are nominated by any staff member who recognizes a student demonstrating good character and performing one or more of our Indian Expectations: taking ownership, taking initiative, being resilient, and advocating. Congratulations to the Science Olympiad team on their state qualifying performance at the regional tournament this past Saturday. The team earned medals in seven individual events and will advance to the State Tournament at Ohio State University on April 26. Best of luck!

Our Boys Basketball team earned a spot in the Regional Semi-Final! Their game will be played at 8 pm on Wednesday, March 5 at The University of Toledo - Savage Arena, 2025 N. Douglas Rd., Toledo. Tickets can be purchased at ohsaa.org/tickets. Due to the late start and considerable travel time, Shawnee Schools will operate on a two-hour delay schedule Thursday, March 6.
