Bus 16 HS/MS will be coming home on bus 35 - on time
Bus 13 HS/MS will be coming home on bus 28 -on time
Bus 35 HS/MS will be coming home on bus 32, leaving about 3:20pm
Bus 16- MW will be coming home on bus 8 and 33, arriving between 420 and 440 pm
Bus 13 -MW will be coming home on bus 19 - on time
Bus 32 and 35 for EW may be running a little late this afternoon

Shawnee Transportation
Due to a staff shortage tomorrow, Friday, September 15, 2023, and the shortage of available subs, the following changes will be in effect:
HS/MS AM Route:
Bus 18 will be picked up by bus 13 beginning at 7 am. Students will not be marked tardy
HS/MS PM Routes:
Bus 32 will be divided between bus 11 , 20 and 22 for the ride home, your students have been or will be notified of which bus to ride.
Bus 18 will be cancelled. Please make arrangements to pick up your students at the middle school and high school.
Maplewood:
AM Route: Bus 18 will be picked up by bus 9, beginning at 8:30 am. Students will not be marked tardy
PM Route: Bus 18 will be cancelled. Please make arrangements to pick up students at Maplewood.
Elmwood:
PM Routes:
Bus 22 will be going home on bus 19 and running about 10-15 minutes behind schedule
Bus 32 will be cancelled. Please make arrangements to pick up your students at Elmwood.

Attention SMS 7th & 8th Grade Parents:
There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, September 20th at 7 pm in the 7/8 cafe for anyone interested in learning more about our June 2024 trip to Washington, DC. (Parents: if you attended the spring meeting, you do not need to attend again) Register by September 30th before price increases.

Due to temperatures, there will be an early dismissal for students tomorrow, Thursday, August 24 AND Friday, August 25. Middle and High School students will dismiss at 12:53 pm. Elmwood and Maplewood will dismiss at 2 pm. High school students with late arrival need to check the high school webpage for their arrival time.

Shawnee bus garage is taking applications for a paraprofessional bus aide. Job qualifications include, at least 18 years of age, work with students of all back grounds, assisting driver with discipline. Must be able to pass background check and drug screen. Hours are 6:30 am to 9:00 am and 1:15 pm to 4:00 p.m. Benefits include sick days, personal leave and insurance. Holiday breaks and summers off! We are excited about the new software, it is called Transfinder and will give you the ability to track your bus, set reminders and receive messages and notifications. We will notify you as soon soon as you are able to download the app and gather your student's bus information.
Versa Trans app will not be available after June 30.
