Fundraiser items are now ready to be picked up at Shawnee Alliance church. PTC will be at the church until 6:00pm for anyone needing to pick up items. Thank you!

Just a reminder that there will be a bake sale tomorrow before and after the 4th grade sing for parents/students to purchase. All proceeds go towards our Pennies for Playground campaign. We will also be selling any items left on Wednesday during lunch to all students if they would like to purchase any baked goods.
Please have all Maplewood students bring a sack lunch for tomorrow, Tuesday, December 7th. Students will be eating in their homeroom due to the 4th grade holiday sing. Thank you!

Reminder that the Maplewood book fair Family Night is tonight from 3-6pm in the Maplewood library. The book fair will be open Friday morning for 4th grade donuts with Dudes and for any students wishing to purchase anything. That will be the last opportunity for anyone wanting to buy. Thank you!
Next week Maplewood will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week all week.
We will have a guest speaker to talk to students about the use of drugs/alcohol along with activities to promote saying no to drugs and bullying. The following are what the kids can wear through the week to promote saying NO to drugs!
Monday- Go RED for Red Ribbon Week (wear a red shirt to show you will always be drug free)
Tuesday- Shawnee is Drug Free! (wear Shawnee spirit wear today!)
Wednesday- From Head and Toe I'm Drug Free! (wear hats, crazy hair, crazy socks ect!)
Thursday- Say "BOO!" to drugs! (Wear Halloween colors to school today! No costumes or Halloween Masks!)
Friday- Follow Your Dreams! (Wear your pajamas to school today!)
Tomorrow is National Unity Day, please have your student wear anything orange in support of bullying prevention! Thank you!

Maplewood lunch menu has been changed for Thursday and Friday of this week. The following will be the new menu:
Thursday: Chicken patty sandwich, broccoli w/cheese, applesauce, brownie bar, and milk
Friday: Pizza Rippers, Green beans, Mandarin oranges, and milk.

Tomorrow starts off our homecoming spirit week at Maplewood! If your student would like to participate, we will be wearing Camo on Monday, Pajama day Tuesday, Neon color day on Wednesday, Jersey Day Thursday, and Friday is Shawnee spirit day! Go Indians!!
