Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
This school year, 2023-24, families will once again be asked to complete and submit a current school year Free/Reduced Meal Application to see if their students qualify based on income. The previous year’s status carries over to the first 30 days of the new school year.
1. The 2023-24 meal application is now available. Completing this will cover the student for the entire 2022-23 school year and no other steps will be necessary, unless there is an income change during the school year.
2. The application can be found online at https://payschoolscentral.com/ or by visiting www.limashawnee.com and clicking on the “Payonline” tab. This will direct you to the Payschools Central link. Once you access PaySchools, create an account and complete the Free & Reduced Application from a computer or a smartphone.
3. New for this school year. The Ohio Department of Education has announced that their budget includes funding to cover the cost of providing no-cost breakfast and no-cost lunch to students qualifying for reduced-priced meals. If you qualify for reduced price meals, you pay nothing.
The 2023-24 breakfast and lunch prices are as follows:
Elmwood & Maplewood Lunch $3.00
Middle School Lunch $3.25
High School Lunch $3.50
Breakfast $1.75 (or items can be purchased ala carte)
