The four contemporary one acts feature intricate wordplay, abstract comedic exploits, improvisational tone, and philosophical meanderings. Shawnee Middle School’s Alotus Wei wins 2nd consecutive regional spelling bee earning a second trip to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.


Lima Area Swim Coaches Association has named Shawnee's Emily Murphy the Lima area girls swimmer of the year. Murphy is the state 50 Yard Freestyle Champion. Emily plans to swim collegiately at the University of Pittsburgh.
