SMS's 8th Grader making us all proud with Eagle Scout Project

Meet Noah Brennan, current 8th grader here at Shawnee Middle School.  This past summer he began an Eagle Scout project planning, creating, and building a serenity garden at Lima Memorial Hospital.  Noah is a scout with Troop 777. Currently the rank of Life Scout, he is working hard towards his Eagle Scout rank—the highest rank in Boy Scouts.  On October 20th, 2021, after 290 service hours, the Serenity Garden was dedicated in the courtyard area of the hospital much to the delight of staff and supporters. Noah's favorite part of doing this project? Knowing that he was helping people.  And his favorite feature? The Japanese Maples.
