The girls tennis team hosted St.Mary's Central Catholic for their 3rd State Match yesterday. Shawnee won 4-1. Shawnee will advance to State and play at Lindner Family Tennis Center on (*where Cincinnati Open is played) Saturday October 17th!
Congrats to the girls cross country team for a great performance at the Faurot Park Allen County Invitational! Top 5 scorers: Brooke Moreland, Razann Elbabour, Mia Kohli, Paige Babani, and Elaina Hahn! The boys cross country team took 1st place! Team score was led by juniors taking top 4 spots: Kasey Hohe- 1st, Ian Delgado- 2nd, Kam Lauf- 3rd, Ryan Moreland- 4th. Freshman Logan Foster rounded out the top 5 scorers placing 15th overall!
Medical Club will have a meeting after school tomorrow in Mrs. Koh's room at 2:45. We will be meeting with a Pharmacist from the University of Findlay and have the chance to make compound lotion. The first 30 students who sign up will receive a free t-shirt.
Picture retakes will be next Tuesday starting at 7:45 in the East Cafeteria. Seniors who did not get pictures taken during the week of schedule pick up must get their picture taken on Tuesday to be included in the class composite. Please dress appropriately. To purchase new portraits or to order and pay online, pick up a form from the West or East of ice. If you are getting retakes, please bring your original picture package. All staff and students need to get your free picture taken on Tuesday to be included in the 26-27 yearbook.
Red Cross Club will have a meeting on Monday for a volunteering activity after school in room 160.
On November 11th Shawnee High School will be holding our Veteran's Day Assembly. If you know of a Veteran that would be interested in attending please see your history teacher. Veteran forms need to be submitted to Mrs. Carr or Mr. Spencer by October 29th.
