The Boys soccer team was victorious over Defiance last night. JV defeated Defiance 4-1, William Gideon had 3 goals on the night and Witten Brinkman had 1. Assists coming from Brady Wilson, Matthew Hoops and William Gideon. Elijah Young with the shutout. Varsity defeated the Bulldogs 6-0 with goals by Landon Meas, Nolan Lamb, Brady Heitmeyer, Connor Heitmeyer, Nolan Schroeder and Witten Brinkman. Preston McClendon and Ben Sewel combined in goal for the shutout.
Calling all writers! Shawnee's Creative Writing Club will meet for its first introductory meeting after school on Monday in Ms. Flick's room (157). Please plan on arriving at 2:45 and staying until about 3:30. Any and all are welcome to join, and we'd love to have you join us to learn more about our program!
2025-2026 Yearbook extras are now available. These are very limited in quantity, so if you are interested in purchasing last year's yearbook, don't delay. The cost for these is $65 and will be cash or check only to Mrs. Hershberger in the West office. If you have questions, see Ms. Trueblood.
The Homecoming Dance is tomorrow evening. Any students that plan on arriving at Homecoming in a party bus or limo will be greeted by an administrator as you arrive, and exit the vehicle before entering the dance. Students must be at the dance by 9:15pm. You will not be permitted to enter if you arrive after 9:15. All guests are required to have a photo ID. We encourage everyone to make positive decisions so that we have a safe and fun evening.
