Are you a student who is creative and artistic? Would you like to win MayDaze points for your class? Then join us for the Homecoming banner contest right after school today in front of the auditorium! All supplies will be provided. See a student government member if you have questions.
Attention all students: the school day begins at 7:30am. Please plan accordingly to get through traffic so that you arrive on time.
OG Blue and Gold Invitational Cross Country results: the girls placed 7th out of 25 teams with Chloe Kouns earning a top 20 individual medal. Top 5 team scorers: Chloe Kouns, Brooke Moreland, Razann Elbabour, Aubrey Heitmeyer, and Paige Babani. Boys placed 4th out of 26 teams. Top 5 finishers: Kasey Hohe, Ryan Moreland, Kam Lauf, Ian Delgado, and Logan Foster. Congrats to Hohe, Moreland, and Lauf for all three earning top 20 medals in this highly competitive field of over 200 runners.
Homecoming guest forms are due today. Guest forms must be signed by an administrator from the guest school. Guests must provide a picture ID at the door.
Juniors: The PSAT sign ups are open until Thursday, September 24th. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity to see how you do on a college readiness assessment and be considered for the National Merit Scholarship program, please bring $18 in exact change, or a check, made out to Shawnee High School, to the guidance office by Thursday, September 24th. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bidlack.
2025-2026 Yearbook extras are now available. These are very limited in quantity, so if you are interested in purchasing last year's yearbook, don't delay. The cost for these is $65 and will be cash or check only to Mrs. Hershberger in the West office. If you have questions, see Ms. Trueblood.
This week is Homecoming Spirit Week! Make sure you check the TV's for each day's theme; Tomorrow is Twin Day. Everyone must still abide by the school dress code.
