OG hosted Shawnee Girls Tennis with Shawnee being undefeated 5-0. Shawnee girls remain undefeated! Lila Brennan, Alivia Mack, and Riya Naroor were victorious in their matches. 1st Dubs Jia Panchal & Hannah Cox and 2nd Dubs Leah Fuller & Hadassah Smith also won over OG.
Are you interested in learning more about Color guard? You are more than welcome to attend our session on Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:20. No experience necessary! Come learn some fundamentals and “Hang on Sloopy” with the band. Please stop by the high school band room for more information.
Seniors will be meeting with their counselors in the following locations for Connections today: Last names A-G with Ms. Buell in Room 206; Last names H-O with Mrs. Bidlack in Room 160; Last names P-Z with Mrs. Rex in Room 151.
Homecoming guest forms are now available in the East Office. Guest forms must be signed by an administrator from the guest school. Guests must provide a picture ID at the door. All signed forms must be returned to Mrs. Rigali by September 21st.
Representatives from Ohio Wesleyan and Capital University will be here this week to hold college visits. Students interested in meeting with them can sign up through the link on the guidance website.
The 2025-2026 Yearbooks are in and can now be picked up! If you are a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, and you ordered a yearbook last year, you can pick up between 7:15 and 7:25 am before school, or during 2nd period if your teacher permits. Otherwise, we will be handing them out by grade level this week in the Cafeterias. Apollo students are welcome to come at 2:45 all of next week. Please email me directly if you have any issues getting here for pickup.
Any student that missed the first meeting and is still interested in playing on the Esports team for Shawnee needs to report to room 151 after school on Wednesday. The meeting will last approximately 30 minutes. Please have rides ready if needed. Any student who has forms filled out and signed please drop them off during this time.
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in joining the Quiz Bowl Academic team this year today after school in Mr. Young's classroom (#129). See Mr. Young if you are unable to attend.
The first meeting for Board and Card Game Club will be held after school today until 3:45pm in Mr. Higgins' room. Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday after school whenever you want to attend.
The first practice for all potential Science Olympiad members is TOMORROW after school in room 151. If you are not able to attend, please see Ms. Berger for more information.
Medical Club will have a meeting after school on Thursday in Mrs. Koh’s room at 2:45. If you are interested in going into the medical field, please attend!
The next PPA (Positive Peer Advocates) meeting is this Thursday at 7am, in Room 160. Remember that anyone interested in being an officer should turn in paperwork by tomorrow!
