Are you interested in learning more about Color guard? You are more than welcome to attend our session on Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:20. No experience necessary! Come learn some fundamentals and “Hang on Sloopy” with the band. Please stop by the high school band room for more information.
Congratulations to the Boys Golf team for the victory over previously undefeated Ottawa Glandorf last night, 158-160. The team was led by medalist Ashton Wright's 36, and Sullivan Hasting's 40. The match was sealed up by Lawson Trueblood who came in with a 41 at the end to steal the victory from the Titans! Wish the team luck as they look to win the WBL title next Thursday!
Homecoming guest forms are now available in the East Office. Guest forms must be signed by an administrator from the guest school. Guests must provide a picture ID at the door. All signed forms must be returned to Mrs. Rigali by September 21st.
Representatives from Ohio Wesleyan and Capital University will be here next week to hold college visits. Students interested in meeting with them can sign up through the link on the guidance website.
Art Club will have a meeting on Monday from 2:45-3:15 in Ms. Trueblood's room (#166). Email Ms. Trueblood with questions.
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in joining the Quiz Bowl Academic team this year on Tuesday, September 15th, after school in Mr. Young's classroom (#129). See Mr. Young if you are unable to attend.
Are you interested in the visual or performing arts? Do you like to write or create? You should join Avatar! Avatar is an arts based literary publication that publishes at the beginning of every month. We will have our first meeting in Mrs Kuhlman's room this Friday. Email Carrie Briggs, Benicio Delgado, or Mrs Kuhlman with any questions. We hope to see you there!
The first meeting of the Board and Card Game Club will be held after school on Tuesday until 3:45pm in Mr. Higgins' room. Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday after school whenever you want to attend.
The boys soccer team travelled to Elida last night. JV walked away with an impressive 6-0 win with goals by Gracsen Stover, Witten Brinkman, Brady Wilson and William Gideon. Assists by Dylan Babani, Jack Gould and Nolan Lamb. Elijah Young with the shutout again. Varsity fought to a 1-1 tie with a goal by Caden Miller assisted by Nolan Schroeder. The boys will be home Saturday against Arch Bishop Alter, JV kickoff 11am with Varsity to follow.
