The first debate club meeting will be today after school until 3:30 in Ms. Kuhlman's room. All are welcome to attend.
Congratulations to the Cross Country teams on their meet against Wapak. The girls team placed 7th out of 18. Top 5 scorers were Chloe Kouns, Brooke Moreland, Mia Kohli, Razann Elbabour, and Paige Babani. Chloe Kouns earned a top 10 medal. The boys team placed 4th out of 19 with Ian Delgado, Kasey Hohe, Ryan Moreland, and Kam Lauf all placing in the top 20. Logan Foster rounded out the top 5 scorers. Ian Delgado and Kasey Hohe both earned a top 15 medal!
The Varsity and JV boys soccer teams both defeated Kenton Thursday night in their first league game of the season. JV won 7-1, with: Witten Brinkman, Gracsen Stover, Jack Tobias, Peyton Sobota and William Gideon scoring. Varsity won 4-0, with: Logan Vogelgesang, Brady Heitmeyer, Landon Meas and Gavin Vondrell scoring.
Any underclassman that is interested in learning more about the Shawnee Color Guard is invited to attend our learning sessions. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:20 starting this week! At these sessions you will learn some of the fundamentals of color guard and some work to perform to Hang on Sloopy during the high school band’s buddy night (Oct. 9). Please stop by the high school band room for more information.
Auditions for the fall musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, will be held tomorrow and Thursday. You can sign up in your grade level Google Classroom!
Homecoming guest forms are now available in the East Office. Guest forms must be signed by an administrator from the guest school. Guests must provide a picture ID at the door. All signed forms must be returned to Mrs. Rigali by September 21st.
Do you love science? Are you interested in competing in events with others to test your science knowledge, laboratory, and building skills? If so, come to an informational meeting about Science Olympiad after school on Wednesday, in the West Cafeteria. If you can't attend, please see Ms. Berger for more information.
Red Cross Club will be having its introductory meeting on Wednesday in room 160. Come to learn more about volunteering and what we do! All are welcome!
Any student interested in playing on the Esports team for Shawnee needs to report to room 151 after school on Thursday. The meeting will last approximately 30 minutes. Please have rides ready if needed.
