Congratulations Shawnee High School! Over the past 2 weeks, we have logged 1,702 acts of kindness, meeting the challenge to beat LCC! Many, many of you helped, so thank you for your efforts to be extra kind. Ms. Flick's Connections group has won the donuts, but well done to all of you! It's always great to spread kindness, and to beat LCC! Have a great Friday, and be kind!
Any senior wanting to try out for a spot on the Graduation program must see Mr. Owen to pick up the guidelines for trying out. The deadline for turning in material is 2:45pm on Friday, May 1st.
As the temperatures are getting warmer, here are a few simple reminders because we are still asking students to follow the dress code. Please wear shorts/skirts that reach fingertip length. Shirts/Tops need to cover shoulders, midsection and lower back. Also, pajama pants should NOT be worn. Students out of dress code may face disciplinary action.
Prom guest forms are now available in the East Office. Forms must be signed and returned to Mrs. Rigali by today. Late guest forms will not be accepted.
Book Club will be having its final meeting on Monday in Ms. Flick’s room, to discuss our book, The Road, by Cormac McCarthy. You do not have to have read the book to come; everyone is welcome!
If you are missing any personal belongings, please check the Lost & Found in the East Office. All unclaimed items will be donated on May 1st.
