LCC has challenged us to complete acts of kindness over the next two weeks! They reached an impressive 563 acts, and we’ve already surpassed 100! You can submit your acts by filling out the form in your class Google Classroom or by using a paper form. The Connections class with the most acts will win donuts from PPA! The challenge ends on April 21—keep spreading kindness!
This week is Purple Star Week, where school districts across the state of Ohio will be honoring Ohio's Military families and children. Please help us say "thank you" to all of our military families by dressing up throughout the week. Tomorrow, support your favorite military branch- wear a branch t-shirt. Wednesday is Purple Up! day- wear purple or your purple star Shawnee Shirt (if you ordered one). Thursday is Camouflage day; and Friday is R.E.D. Friday- everyone should wear red to "remember everyone deployed". Help us honor and celebrate those who do so much for our community and country!
Tomorrow we will operate on a two hour delay schedule due to ELA II, Part 1 state testing. Any student taking the test needs to report to their testing room by 7:35. Students who do NOT have to test need to report at 9:40. The buses will run as normal so any student that rides the bus will report to the East Cafeteria until testing is over. Any student who arrives at school between 7:35 - 9:40 will ONLY be able to enter through door N1 and go directly to the East Cafeteria. An announcement will be made when testing is over to instruct students to go to first period.
