The spring Blood Drive is on Wednesday. There are still several time slots available. You can scan the QR code on the posters around the building to sign up. Any student under age 17 must have a parental consent form signed. Forms are available in the East Office.
The National Honor Society is hosting a Food and Hygiene drive for the West Ohio Food Bank this week. Collections will be held before and after school in room 172 as well as in the West Cafeteria during lunch. By donating, you can earn your class MayDaze points!
Attention Seniors: In order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony, seniors must meet all graduation requirements and wear the cap and gown representative of Shawnee High School. You may not participate in Commencement without a cap and gown. See Mrs. Hershberger in the West Office with any questions. The deadline to order is April 7th.
This week is spirit week for Music In Our Schools Month. Today is: Lullaby Music, wear comfy PJs. Tomorrow is Music that Ties Us All Together, wear Tie dye or a classic tie. Wednesday is Musical Day, dress like a character from your favorite musical. Thursday is Shine Like the Sun, dress like your favorite decade of music. Friday is Devoted Fan, wear merch from your favorite music artist. Keep in mind that the dress code applies to all spirit days.
The high school Drama Department presents, “You Have the Right to Remain Dead”, this Friday and Saturday at 7pm in the Auditorium. The show is a murder mystery comedy with audience participation. General seating only and all tickets are $10.00 at the door. You don’t want to miss it!
