The spring Blood Drive will be March 25th. There are still several time slots available. You can scan the QR code on the posters around the building to sign up. Any student under age 17 must have a parental consent form signed. Forms are available in the East Office.
The National Honor Society is hosting a Food and Hygiene drive for West Ohio Food Bank Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27. Collections will be held before and after school in room 172 as well as in the West Cafeteria during lunch. By donating, you can earn your class MayDaze points!
Attention Seniors: In order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony, seniors must meet all graduation requirements and wear the cap and gown representative of Shawnee High School. You may not participate in Commencement without a cap and gown. See Mrs. Hershberger in the West Office with any questions. The deadline to order is April 7th.
To continue Music In Our Schools Month, next week will be a Spirit Week. Monday is: Lullaby Music, wear comfy PJs. Tuesday is Music that Ties Us All Together, wear Tie dye or a classic tie. Wednesday is Musical Day, dress like a character from your favorite musical. Thursday is Shine Like the Sun, dress like your favorite decade of music. Friday is Devoted Fan, wear merch from your favorite music artist. Keep in mind that the dress code applies to all spirit days.
April 15th is Purple Up! Day across the state of Ohio, where all Ohio schools will honor our military families. Join in honoring Shawnee's military families and buy a Shawnee Purple Up! t-shirt. The link to buy the shirt has been posted to all class google classrooms and closes this Sunday. If you have any questions see Ms. Griffo or Mr. Spencer. Buy your shirt today!
Reminders: Today we are operating on an alternate bell schedule for the assembly. Also, students do not have school tomorrow due to Staff In-Service.
