The spring Blood Drive will be March 25th. There are still several time slots available. You can scan the QR code on the posters around the building to sign up. Any student under age 17 must have a parental consent form signed. Forms are available in the East Office.
The National Honor Society is hosting a Food and Hygiene drive for West Ohio Food Bank Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27. Collections will be held before and after school in room 172 as well as in the West Cafeteria during lunch. By donating, you can earn your class MayDaze points!
Attention Seniors: In order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony, seniors must meet all graduation requirements and wear the cap and gown representative of Shawnee High School. You may not participate in Commencement without a cap and gown. See Mrs. Hershberger in the West Office with any questions. The deadline to order is April 7th.
March is Music In Our Schools Month, a time to celebrate the importance of music education and the talented students who make music a meaningful part of our school community! This week’s spotlight musicians are Thomas Schiel & Alayna Brown! Tom is a tenor in the symphonic choir and a tuba player in the symphonic band. Alayna is a soprano in the symphonic choir! Be listening for more fun musical events this month!
April 15th is Purple Up! Day across the state of Ohio, where all Ohio schools will honor our military families. Join in honoring Shawnee's military families and buy a Shawnee Purple Up! t-shirt.
