Attention Freshmen and anyone interested in ordering a class ring: Herff Jones will be in front of the auditorium on Wednesday during lunch periods and after school from 3pm-5pm to take class ring orders. A deposit is due with your order. Packets for ordering will be available in the West Office or at the tables in front of the auditorium.
Diva’s Den will one again be giving away prom dresses on Saturday from 9:00am-12:00pm. See the flyer in Google Classroom or posted around the building for more information.
This past weekend, Shawnee’s Creative Writing Team traveled to Sylvania-Southview High School for their first time ever competing in a tournament. The team had an outstanding first competition and earned the following awards: Top 3 Division 1 Poetry Winner: Jayna Bagley. Division 1 Individual Awards: Carter Boone – 10th place, Lex McMurry – 9th place, Jayna Bagley – 7th place, Sofia Bravo – 2nd place. Division 2 Individual Awards: Briley Ryan – 14th place, Georgianna Damschroder – 3rd place. Overall Team Awards: 2nd Place Overall Team for Division 2 and 1st Place Overall Team for Division 1. Shawnee was also named Grand Champion of the entire tournament. Congratulations to the Creative Writing Team on an incredible first competition and a job well done!
The spring Blood Drive will be March 25th. You can scan the QR code on the posters around the building to sign up. Any student under age 17 must have a parental consent form signed. Forms are available in the East Office.
If you are missing any personal belongings, please check the Lost and Found in the East Office. Any unclaimed items will be donated on Friday.
