Homecoming Spirit Week for today is Dress as Your Future Self. Tomorrow is School Sport Day (no props or cleats allowed).
Attention Spanish students! It´s time to sign up for Spanish Club! Please see your Spanish teacher or Señora Theis for an information paper and sign up in room 252. The deadline to sign up is tomorrow.
Homecoming T-Shirts are in and may be picked up in the Athletic Office.
Attention Juniors and Seniors: A representative from Ohio Northern University and the US Army will be here today, during Connections, in the guidance office. Interested students should sign up in google classroom or on the guidance website.
This month, Shawnee’s Book Club is diving into Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt! It’s a heartwarming story about unexpected friendships and discovering new family connections. Join us for our discussion on Monday, October 27th, from 2:45–3:30 PM in Ms. Flick’s room (157). No need to have read the book to come—everyone is welcome! We’d love to see you there.
If you plan to attend the Varsity Football game tomorrow night, please be prepared and bring all belongings that you might need for the evening with you. There is absolutely no face paint allowed to be brought into the stadium or restrooms. Do not bring it with you to put on at the game. Face paint is allowed if done ahead of time but leave it at home! Once you are in the stadium you will not be permitted to leave unless you are leaving for the night. You will also not be permitted to go back & forth to the Visitors side. Again, once you are inside the stadium you must stay.
The Homecoming Dance is this Saturday. Any students that plan on arriving at Homecoming in a party bus or limo will be greeted by an administrator as you arrive, and exit the vehicle before entering the dance. Students must be at the dance by 9:15pm. You will not be permitted to enter if you arrive after 9:15. All guests are required to have a photo ID. We encourage everyone to make positive decisions so that we have a safe and fun evening.
