Congratulations to the JV Girls Soccer team on their 1-0 victory vs Bath last night. The Varsity girls battled til the end, but fell short to the Lady Cats, 1-0. Good luck to the girls as they travel to Celina on Thursday.
Seniors will be meeting with their guidance counselors during Connections today. If you are not typically here during Connections, please plan to stay if possible. See the senior level google classroom for meeting locations.
Juniors and Seniors interested in meeting the college and military reps this fall, check the schedule found in google classroom and on the guidance website. Visits begin this week with the Army National Guard coming this Thursday during Connections.
The Ohio State University at Lima is offering tutoring and academic support for high school students in Allen County. The service is free and provided by university employed honors level students in all subjects but targeted in: Algebra, Calculus, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Writing. Service is directly supervised by OSU administration and faculty. In-person and remote options available. See google classroom for times and instructions on how to sign up.
Attention Juniors: information on the PSAT/NMSQT was shared in Google Classroom. Those interested in signing up to take the PSAT must bring in $18 cash or check made out to Shawnee High School by Tuesday, September 16th. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Bidlack in the guidance office.
NHS after school tutoring will begin today, and continue every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-3:30 in room 208. Study hall tutoring will be starting soon. Contact one of your teachers or guidance counselors if you are interested in meeting up with a tutor during your study hall period.
Debate Club will have their first meeting after school today, in room 101. Please have rides here by 3:30.
There will be an informational meeting about Science Olympiad after school this Wednesday in the GIC. If you can't attend, please see Ms. Berger for more information.
Red Cross Club will have its first meeting after school tomorrow in room 160.
The SHS Drama department will be producing 9-5 for the musical this year. Audition dates will be set for next week and more information will be added to your grade level Google Classrooms.
