About Leigh: I am the Mental Health Coordinator for Shawnee School District. I am a Master's Level Licensed Social Worker. Within this role , I am available to students that need mental health support. When appropriate, I refer students to meet regularly with our school navigator. I work with staff and parents to identify needs within the students and the district as a whole. I am also responsible for planning mental health programming throughout the district. I am a sounding board for counselors and staff that need assistance with student mental health as well. I have a comprehensive list of area agencies and their specialties.
