Homecoming is tomorrow, at Apollo from 8:30pm-11:00pm. Tickets for Homecoming can be purchased at lunch. You can also purchase tickets before or after school in Mr. Miller or Ms. Griffo’s room. Tickets are $10 and will also be sold at the door. Also, as a reminder, each student is only able to purchase two tickets. 

Results are in for the MayDaze banner contest. In 3rd place were the Juniors with 840 votes. In 2nd place were the Freshmen with 946 votes and in 1st place were the seniors with 1,076 votes. Current overall scores for MayDaze stand at Seniors with 1,000, Freshmen with 800, Juniors with 600 and Sophomores with 0. Thank you to all the students who voted and created the banners.

Congratulations to the Boys Golf team for capturing the WBL title yesterday by dominating the league tournament and completing a clean sweep of the league. Evan Jackson received Honorable Mention honors, while Matthew Owen and Matthew Stiles made the All League team. Senior Seth Grieshop finished an amazing season as Player of the Year in the WBL! Congrats guys! And, congratulations to Mr. McGreevy on receiving Coach of the Year!

Congratulations to the JV girls soccer team on their 5-1 victory over Wapak on Tuesday. Come out and support the JV and Varsity  Girls’ Soccer Teams in home action on Monday vs St. Mary’s. The game is a PINK OUT in memory of Jersey Poff, a St. Marys Middle School Student. JV game begins @ 5 pm. Varsity game begins @ 7 pm.

Mr. Spencer will be holding an informational meeting for any student that might have interest in traveling to Ireland and England this coming summer as there are about 10 remaining spots available. The meeting will be next Wednesday, September 27th @ 7:00 p.m. in Mr. Spencer’s room #127. You can pick up a trip information packet from Mr. Spencer prior to the meeting if you wish.
