Homecoming will be Saturday, September 23rd at Apollo from 8:30pm-11:00pm. Out of town guest forms are now available in the East Office. Forms must be completed and turned in by September 20th. Attention Seniors: the window to vote for Homecoming Court is now open. You are able to vote for any Senior Girl and Boy to be on Homecoming Court until 3pm Today. Homecoming court will be announced on Friday during 6th Period. Homecoming Spirit Week starts on Monday. On Monday athletic shorts and work boots go together as it’s Adam Sandler Day. Tuesday, feel free to wear a hat as you show us whether you are more Country or Country Club. Wednesday, the two hit movies of the summer come together for Barbenheimer Day. Dress as a Barbie character or an Oppenheimer character. On Thursday, feel free to wear a hat as you show Shawnee your best Frat attire. And finally, on Friday, wear your Shawnee gear while bringing your books around in “anything but a backpack”. Restrictions do apply so choose wisely!!
Attention Juniors and Seniors: Be sure to check out your grade level google classroom for college reps visiting SHS. Visits start this week. Sign up is through the Google Form attached to the calendar in Google Classroom.
There will be a Spanish Club meeting after school today in room 160 from 2:45-3:15.
Attention juniors, it is time to sign up for the PSAT/NMSQT. The cost is $18 cash or check made out to Shawnee High School. Bring your payment to the guidance office by Tuesday, September 19th to sign up. More information was shared in GoogleClassroom. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bidlack in the guidance office.
The Shawnee Band is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser this Saturday from 4:00-8:00pm at the Shawnee United Methodist Church. Meals are $10.00 and are available for pick-up or dine-in.
The 2022-23 Yearbooks are in! If you ordered last year's yearbook please stop by Mr. Krawetzke's room before school, during study hall, or after school starting today to pick up your copy. If you forgot to order your yearbook please contact Mr. Krawetzke for ordering details.

If you are a junior or senior who received a letter on Monday about National Honor Society, please remember there will be a short meeting after school today in Mrs. Stirn's room, 211. It should last until about 3:00, and is mandatory for those interested in being considered for membership. Please see Mrs. Stirn if you have any questions or concerns.
