Attention sophomores: A list of students who have signed up to attend Apollo's 411 Blast Day for this Friday, January 27th, is posted outside of each office and in the 10th grade Google Classroom. If you are planning to attend and have turned in your signed permission form, please be sure your name is on this list. If you have not turned in your form and want to attend, get your form in asap and Apollo will try to accommodate you. Stop in guidance if you have questions.
Starting today, Student Government will be selling tickets at lunch for $5 for our first ever Overtime Celebration. This celebration will directly follow the boys basketball game this Friday. Doors will open at 9 with the activities ending at 11. Food, drinks, music and games will be available for all who attend. Tickets will be available at the door but the price will be $10 so buy them early to help your grade level earn MayDaze points.
Tomorrow, January 25th at 6:30 PM, Shawnee High School guidance counselors will conduct an informational meeting in Hugh Downs Auditorium for students and parents interested in the College Credit Plus Program; or, learning about other alternative means for earning high school credit. Interested students and parents must notify the school of their intent to participate in College Credit Plus and other alternative credit methods for the 2023-24 school year by April 1, 2023.
In the event that school is canceled due to bad weather, the meeting will also be canceled. A video presentation will be emailed to all students and parents with the information from the meeting, and the details needed to participate in College Credit Plus.
The girls basketball team will have a canned food drive at their game TONIGHT vs. Crestview. Come out and support the girls and support a local Shawnee family in need!
The Anti-Racism Club will be hosting a movie day after school this Thursday in room 160. All students are welcome to attend.
