Attention Junior and Seniors: Please check your Google Classroom for your Opt-Out Form assignment. Forms must be turned in to Mrs. Downard by the end of the day on Wednesday, September 14th.
Want to volunteer and are looking for opportunities? Join Shawnee’s Red Cross Club. The first meeting will be on Thursday at 2:45 in Room 151. See Ms. Trueblood if you have any questions.
Auditions for the musical, White Christmas, will be held after school today and on Thursday in the auditorium.
Congratulations to the Boys Golf team on the victory at Wapak last night, 182-199.
Congratulations to the Varsity & JV girls soccer teams on their shutout victories over Defiance last night. Come out and support the girls in home action on Thursday vs Wapak. JV game begins @ 6 pm; Varsity will follow.
Shawnee Girls Tennis won last night with a score of 4-1 over Kenton. They are currently undefeated in the WBL 9-0.
FCA will be holding a meeting this Wednesday at 7:00a.m. in Mr. Lora’s room. Even if you aren’t an athlete, feel free to join us!
If you're starting to struggle in a class or two, or just need help understanding the course material a little bit more, this may be just what you need. Starting today, there will be FREE tutoring provided every Tuesday and Thursday after school in the GIC. From 2:45-3:30, NHS students will be available to help in any subject and any level. Come check it out.
Students wanting to join Gatekeepers, our first meeting will be Thursday, September 15th from 7:00AM-7:30AM in room 160. We will meet every other Thursday at this time. Gatekeepers gives you an opportunity to engage in activities surrounding mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
Juniors and Seniors interested in attending one of the upcoming college conferences should sign up in the guidance office.
After school math help will be every Thursday immediately after school in Mrs. Keller’s room.
Homecoming will be Saturday, September 24th at Apollo. Out of town guest forms are now available in the East Office. Forms must be completed and turned in by September 20th.
