  • Four Shawnee High School seniors were among the twelve young women honored by the American Association of University Women on April 27, 2015.  Each young lady will receive a $1000 scholarship.  The students honored were Alexis Wei, Avery Zhou, Cammy Murphy, and McKenna Waldroup.

Congressional Visit
Shawnee Board Vice President Linda Haycock goes to Washington DC to present the following information.  

1) A realistic, financially feasible, and completely funded Reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.

2) Child Nutrition Act Reauthorization.

3) Increased Federal Funding  for Title I and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
